The Bridges We Cross (2025) is an Oscar®, BAFTA, and Canadian Screen Guild qualifying short film that tenderly explores love, memory, and identity through the story of Henry and Bertie—two lifelong partners navigating the realities of dementia. As they embark on a final journey together, their bond is tested in profound and unexpected ways. Created in close collaboration with LGBTQ+ and dementia advocacy organisation, the film offers an intimate and authentic portrayal of caregiving, legacy, and resilience.
